💡About the Bambu Lab H2D

The Bambu Lab H2D introduced dual-extrusion native printing to Bambu's lineup — two nozzles printing simultaneously for soluble supports, two-material prints, and true dual-color without filament switching waste. Now superseded by the H2S, clearance units offer excellent value.

  • True dual extrusion — no filament switching

The H2D prints two materials simultaneously from two nozzles. This eliminates purge tower waste and enables true dual-material prints including PVA/PLA soluble support combinations.

  • Large build volume

350×320×325 mm gives more print area than the standard 256 mm Bambu models — suited for larger professional parts.

  • High-temp capable

The H2D supports a wide range of engineering filaments including PA-CF, PETG-CF, and PC with its enclosed chamber.

🎯Who is this for?

Professional makers and small studios who need dual-material printing for engineering parts with soluble supports — or true dual-color without purge waste.

FAQs

H2D vs AMS multicolor — what is the difference?

The H2D uses two nozzles that print simultaneously — no filament switching, no purge tower. AMS-based multicolor (A1, P, X series) switches filaments mid-print and purges waste. The H2D is ideal for two-material prints requiring soluble supports or true dual extrusion. AMS supports up to 4 colors with filament switching.
